United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization was established in 1945. It aims to create a peaceful environment between nations using intellectual and moral qualities such as education, science and culture. UNESCO works to build networks among nations by;
-Creating new opportunities for education so that everyone has a chance to access quality education,
-Spreading the idea of World Heritage to protect cultural and natural heritage sites, demanding scientific collaboration among nations to prevent natural disasters and to strengthen ties between them,
-Protecting freedom expression as a fundamental human right.

Inspired by this year’s theme, which is “The Evolution of Human Society: Adapting to the 21st Century”, delegates of this committee are expected to tackle 21st century problems using the power of science and technology to their fullest extent whilst ensuring the protection of human rights and cultural heritage, especially in the developing world and places that are considered to be problematic and shaky.
