Discussing OIC’s stance regarding global issues and the enforcement of human rights in member statesThe OIC is the greatest collective voice of the muslim world and it has a significant role on how non-muslim people from other nations view muslims. Therefore, it is no doubt that OIC, an organization with such huge role and impact and struggles to maintain a balance between staying true to both basic human rights and islamic rules, its reputation will be damaged. Additionally, the lack of discussion and essential measures cannot be overlooked. With solving these problems in mind, the OIC has to work and settle on several topics.
Dealing with IslamophobiaIslamophobia is a form of unconscious bias that is linked to a person's environment, perception of the world, and impacts their thoughts. However, this irrational fear and hatred can manifest itself in actual discrimination or violent attacks, and in the most extreme cases, it can lead to the corruption of government organizations to serve the racist and segregationist agendas of such people. Because the problem of Islamophobia is spreading throughout the world, particularly in Europe; the OIC, the Muslim world's collective voice must rise to the occasion and take the necessary steps to prevent the hate towards Muslims from spreading.
